**Summary**

Assists and supports the Quality Engineers by providing production expertise to resolve Quality issues within the production operation.

**Detailed Description**

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

+ Assists and supports in-process and product first layer assessment.

+ Performs the activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics.

+ Supports the identification and processing of internal non-conforming materials for proper disposition.

+ Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line.

+ Assists and supports Support First Article Assessment activities.

+ Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required.

+ Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality

+ Processes.

+ Supports the RMA quality related activities.

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**

+ Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality guidance.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.

+ Understanding of quality and manufacturing standards.

+ Basic knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel.

+ Knowledge of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ.

+ Skills for evaluating, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing.

+ Well organized.
