Assembly Technician

Job Summary: WGNSTAR is seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the semiconductor industry. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment in customer cleanrooms, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with all required safety instructions at all times.
- Move equipment into place in customer cleanrooms.
- Perform equipment pre-installations and setups.
- Install equipment to required quality standards.
- Complete work with high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Utilize detailed checklists and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude/experience, including the ability to use appropriate hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment.
- Willingness to travel to various customer locations as required to support installation activity in different semiconductor fabs.
- Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum education of High School Diploma required, or equivalent AS degree in an engineering discipline highly desirable.
- Troubleshooting and electromechanical repair are a plus.
Physical Effort/Activities:
- Ability to work in cleanroom environment, wearing all necessary PPE and Cleanroom attire as required for at least 8 hours each day.
- Ability to work in confined areas, in awkward positions, and/or in high places.
- Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds are required.
- May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
- May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions.
