Job Title: Technical Reviewer
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $85-$89/hr. (W2 Contract)
What’s the Job?
- Lead Safety Initiatives: Drive the organization towards zero workplace injuries and incidents by providing technical guidance on Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) planning and implementation.
- Review and Approve LOTO Plans: Evaluate and authorize LOTO plans prepared by others, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Power Distribution Expertise: Apply your extensive knowledge of power distribution systems (commercial, industrial, and utility) to guide field personnel in maintaining electrically safe work conditions.
- Communication and Mentorship: Communicate effectively with team members and leaders, providing mentorship to enhance safety practices and understanding.
- Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with State/Provincial regulations (NFPA/OSHA/CSA) and contribute to developing safety checklists and complex LOTO procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical field service, particularly with end-user electrical distribution equipment.
- Associate degree or equivalent military experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Electrical Contractor’s License.
- General Contractor’s License.
- Professional Engineering License.
Job/Project Scope and Working Conditions:
- Available 24/7.
- Travel to district offices and customer locations, with overnight travel up to 25%.
