Overview:Performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services during facility use. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility clean up. Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. Ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00.

About the Venue:The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a multi-building facility designed to serve the citizens of Greensboro and the surrounding area through a broad range of activities, including athletic events, cultural arts, concerts, theater, and educational activities, fairs, exhibits, and public and private events of all kinds including conventions, convocations and trade and consumer shows. It is both a primary center of activity for the community and a leading economic generator for this region.
Responsibilities:- Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean Coliseum interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean and wax floors. Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms. Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
- Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots, walkways, and Coliseum facilities; empty waste receptables.
- Perform additional staff functions for events.
- All employees will exercise resource stewardship and report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
- Required to follow OSHA and in house safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be currently employed at the GCC to join this transition group.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies and equipment.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.

- Required to successfully complete on site CPR and blood borne pathogen training.
