Overview

MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer - Electrical in our Madison, WI office location. The various projects you'll be working on will be supporting our Buildings Service Line and make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. This position focuses on electrical engineering tasks associated with electrical design for architectural construction projects.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

* Electrical (Power Systems and Lighting) engineering responsibilities will include design, field observation, and survey activities as well as document production Revit (BIM, building information modeling).
* Heavy emphasis placed on building energy management and sustainable design principles.
* Working alongside senior engineering staff, assist with bidding and construction administration, and site observation of work performed.

Qualifications

What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree required, or anticipated in the coming months
* A valid driver's license required
* EIT and desire to obtain PE preferred
* Previous related engineering intern or co-op experience preferred
* Prior experience in the MEP field preferred
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
* Revit and Auto CAD coursework and/or experience would be a plus
* A desire to learn more about MEP projects in a consulting industry
