Is seeking an experienced veterinarian to be our Medical Director for our ever-growing practice in Louisville, KY. You will be working hand in hand with our management team to improve and implement updated AAHA medical protocols, mentor new grads and technician staff and insure the best medical care of our patients. Surgical skills are a plus for routine procedures. Flexible scheduling for shifts.

You will work with seasoned and knowledgeable Technicians and Managers that will partner with you and provide support and encouragement.

  • Collaborate with seasoned staff to create an amazing practice
  • Implement strategies to improve care for our patients
  • Mentor and assist new grads and technicians to help them grow skills
  • Work with management to grow the practice
  • Make recommendations for new equipment and services
  • Assist with creating and updating medical protocols

We have been serving the Louisville area since 1985. We follow Fear Free and Low Stress Handling guidelines

We work closely with our main campus, Jefferson Animal Hospital and Regional Emergency Center. They are open 24/7, 365 days per year to handle our emergency needs.


Currently, our hours of operation are Mon through Thursday 7a-6p, and Fridays and Saturdays 7a-6p. Work hours can be 8a-4p or 9a-5p any of those days except Fridays and Saturdays, which are 9a-4p. We are open to the schedule that works best for you

No late nights or on-call.
