Description:

This position requires preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements, assisting with budgets and analyzing variances. Staff Accountants will work with all departments and management to find answers and resolve problems to ensure the integrity of the financial statements

Requirements:

Minimum Associate degree in accounting or related field.

2-3 years of experience in an accounting role preparing financial statements preferred.

Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skill, specifically Excel.

Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred.

Strong organization and communication skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work as member of team, both within accounting department and across entire organization.

Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare monthly financial statements and communicate results for multiple operating companies.

Analyze, investigate, and resolve variances in general ledger accounts.

Prepare and assist in the development of annual budgets.

Monitor performance versus budget and other objectives.

Prepare supporting account reconciliations monthly for balance sheet accounts.

Prepare quarterly/annual supporting tax and other compliance documentation.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
