Compensation: $ 35-40/hour 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
• Preform month end closing duties
o Review sales division trial balances.
o Complete and review necessary month end journal entries.
o Prepare and load exchange rates for all of the Global Market subsidiaries.
o Calculate and process royalty and rebate expenses related to sales activity.
• Complete month end financial reporting
o Prepare full set of financial statements for an affiliated company.
o Report tracking of monthly administrative costs against annual budget.
o Prepare monthly spoilage report.
o Prepare monthly net sales report.
o Annual and monthly census reports
o Provide guidance and insight of Rich’s standard financial operating reports.
• Lead support of general ledger reconciliation and analysis
o Update and reconcile balance sheet accounts of sales division.
o Perform bank reconciliations.
o Assist with Lease accounting per ASC842.
o Track and reconcile intercompany activity among Rich’s plants.
Communicate regularly with all plant controllers regarding open items.
Clear open items monthly
o Assist with the quarterly review of sales division balance sheet reconciliations to support corporate journal entry policy.
Qualifications:
PURPOSE STATEMENT
 Corporate Accounting group is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist with the monthly financial statement close process and support the remainder of the corporate accounting team.
- Looking for someone in BUFFALO AREA. Work schedule will be hybrid: Monday and Friday remote: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be required to work onsite at the Buffalo, NY World Headquarters location.
- The manager would prefer the associate to have a 4-year accounting degree
- Knowledgeable of US GAAP
- System experience: Microsoft products including strong in excel, SAP would be a plus.
•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
•Minimum 5 years relevant experience
•Solid understanding of GAAP & FASB pronouncements
•Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
•Demonstrates prioritizing, planning and organization skills
•Strong PC skills, proficiency with Windows, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint)
•Able to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.
•Understanding of ERP system environment
•Ability to sit for extended periods of time performing tasks requiring
analytical and financial concepts
•Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in writing or orally
•Ability to use a keyboard and standard office automation tools for
documentation and communication purposes.
