We are experienced in yard management, switching, warehousing, shuttling, intermodal / dry van services, and more. “Safety First” is our motto. We are committed to hiring individuals who believe that safety is a priority, not an option.
Our dispatchers directly communicate with drivers to update our tracking systems. Dispatchers also have to verify locations of trailers as requested. The set starting pay is $17 an hour. The position reports to our office in Gary, IN.
*Schedule A : *2nd Shift - Wednesday - Saturday: 3 pm - 1 am
*Schedule B : *3rd Shift - Wednesday - Saturday: 10 pm - 8 am
* Update dispatch systems (data entry)
* Provide exceptional customer service to customers and 3PLS
* Respond to emails
* Communicate with drivers over the phone
* Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel is helpful
* Experience in customer service (office environment) or a call center preferred.
* Logistics / trucking experience is helpful but not required.
