Gpac is partnered with a growing, family-owned Agriculture company that is currently seeking a Controller for their operation in east central South Dakota.
This company specializes in specialty seed and crops, which they purchase, warehouse, condition, mix, package, sell and then transport. They are looking for someone who is a true Controller, not just a financial Controller... someone with a track record of effective oversight of the accounting aspects as well as a common-sense approach to problem solving issues and systems, which can include things like insurance, risk management, state government and sales tax audits, etc. They need someone with the ability to oversee these things and someone who knows where to go and what resources to use to solve any issues. This is a smaller company that really watches the details so the Controller must be knowledgeable, assertive and extremely curious.
Compensation for this position will depend on experience but will be very competitive with the current market as well as a solid benefits package, including medical, dental and flex plans, 401k with match, paid holidays and vacation time, disability and life insurance and more.
