p>My client is offering the opportunity to join one of the Midwest's premier general contractors and help them build out their Milwaukee office. This role comes with the financial backing and pipeline of a multi-state contractor, with the tight-knit family feel of a smaller Milwaukee office. For the right candidate my client is prepared to offer top of the market compensation (base, sign on bonus, yearly bonus) and industry leading job security.

Client Details

My client is an award winning general contractor that does work in multiple states. They work in an extremely diverse line of industries, doing builds in many different sectors. They are looking to bring on a skilled project manager as they are looking to build out their presence in the Milwaukee market. They have not laid anyone off in over 10 years and retained all employees through covid with bonus.

Description

  • Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of the construction project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial analysis, and risk assessments, to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement in project management processes.

Profile

  • 5+ years of true project management experience
  • Experience with ground up construction (commercial/healthcare preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of applicable construction technologies
  • Client-facing ability
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
