Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $80.00/hr Position: VCF Senior Consultant Duration: 6 months Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid- 3 days on-site) Role Overview The Senior Consultant is the hands‑on technical lead responsible for the execution of "VCF Design, Deploy, and Roll‑Out" tasks. This role will handle the specific configuration, scripting, and validation activities required to set up the 4 Node VCF 9.0 Lab and prepare for the production rollout. Key Responsibilities Lab Deployment & Validation: Execute the deployment and configuration of the 4 Node VCF 9.0 Lab and assist with the subsequent upgrade to VCF 9.1. Technical Documentation: Create configuration and validation workbooks. Document build processes for ESXi 8.0 on Cisco and Dell hardware. Scripting & Automation: Assist with Database Snapshot scripted integrations, maintain "ghost vm" scripts (daily runs), and process updates for VCF Operations patching dashboards. Hardware & Integration: Configure OMEVV/Intersight Assist for image‑based updates and ensure support for Nics with onboard iSCSI Initiators. Compliance & Security: Define and implement VCF Compliance Checks and Operations Security Benchmarks. Required Experience Deep technical expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) (specifically versions 9.0/9.1). Hands‑on scripting experience (PowerCLI, Python, etc.) for automation tasks. Experience with Cisco and Dell hardware integration (Intersight/OMEVV). Knowledge of 3rd‑party integrations (TMC‑SM Automation, NVIDIA AI/ML Stack).
