VCF Deployment Specialist Location: Seattle Area (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Pay Range: $80/hr - $90/hr (hourly C2C). Actual pay based on experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs. Key Responsibilities Advanced Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the core VMware platform, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi. Operational Management: Oversee VM lifecycle management, resource optimization, and day‑to‑day administration of the virtualized infrastructure. Performance Tuning: Fine‑tune system performance to ensure optimal operation and efficiency. Upgrades and Patching: Manage patching and upgrades using VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM). Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline operations and enhance efficiency (PowerCLI, Python, REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible). Integration: Ensure seamless integration with NSX‑T and the Aria Suite. Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of VCF 9 by handling ongoing operational tasks. Core VMware Platform Expertise: Knowledge of vSphere 8, vCenter Server, ESXi host administration, storage policies, DRS, HA, vMotion. Automation & Development: Familiarity with VMware Event Broker Appliance (VEBA), VMware automation tools, scripting languages, VMware Aria Automation, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Aria Orchestrator, credential rotation, and secrets management via API.
