Mailing Technician
Pay $16-18 per hour
M-F - 8-5 p.m.
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a professional and energetic Mailing Technician to join our growing team and act as the primary employee running our Mailing Department.

Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of Mailing and/or Bindery responsibilities, working with internal and external customers, with an understanding or capability including previous mailing or shipping equipment.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and good mathematical skills.
-Driver's license w/good driving record; ability to drive and load/unload delivery vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines for orders in a quality manner.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
Mailing Operations:
- Set up, operate, maintain, and trouble shoot all inkjet, tabbing equipment, & inserting equipment.
- Oversee inkjet quality, assuring bar codes meet postal regulations.
- Performs all postal sortation, traying, and palletizing of mail.
- Understands mail categories and classes according to postal regulations; check files for conformity to supplied layouts, and mail piece for conformity to USPS regulations
- Understands mail piece design according to postal regulations.
- Deliver mail to post office as needed.
- Knowledge of mail list management and processing a plus.
- Coordinate/prioritize mailing schedule/work according to production needs.
- Ensure that all finished products are acceptable quality and produced according to schedule.
- Knowledge of Accuzip mail software is a plus.

Working/Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to tolerate loud print production noises and printing materials.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
