Interior Space Designer (Retail/Commercial focus) Become an integral part of TBC Corporation, a leader in the mobility industry with $5 billion in revenue and 3,500+ employees across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The role is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Job Overview As an Interior Space Designer, you will manage the design and renovation of new and remodeled retail stores for TBC’s franchise network. You will collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and franchisees to deliver on‑site design solutions that meet brand standards, budget, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Lead the design process for new and remodeled franchise stores, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project objectives. Coordinate with Construction, Real‑Estate, Franchise Development, Marketing, and Operations teams to resolve design challenges and secure stakeholder agreement. Manage relationships with outside consultants, contractors, and suppliers, overseeing design documentation and construction details. Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisee site design issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns. Use AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to draft and model interior and exterior schematics, equipment layouts, and conceptual site plans. Conduct site evaluations, read as‑built drawings, and verify construction specifications, codes, and regulations to create accurate CAD drawings. Support corporate space renovation projects, including office layouts, furniture planning, and distribution‑center design. Identify and implement innovative tools and processes to improve the store‑design function’s efficiency. Qualifications 10+ years of architectural or interior design experience in commercial retail or similar environments. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ShaderLight, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Strong construction detailing skills with field experience and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally across departments and external contacts. Self‑direct, organized, and able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Technical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and design software. Bilingual language skills in Spanish/English are a plus. Interior Design or Architectural degree from a technical school or college is preferred.
