Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day technical support to employees for internal desktop systems hardware and software, as well as support for network, basic server, and storage infrastructure for over 200 users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees for internal desktop systems hardware and software along with network, basic server, and storage infrastructure for 200+ users.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and MacOS devices, smartphones, and network equipment in a heterogeneous environment.
  • Manage Users and Computer Objects in Active Directory in a hybrid environment.
  • Perform Windows imaging and proactively research and drive IT towards modern approaches for image management and patching.
  • Analyze, install, modify, and support operating systems, databases, and utilities software.
  • Responsible for endpoint management, conditional access policies, and security using KACE and Intune. Assess current practices and recommend improvements.
  • Support M365 applications, including Office and Teams.
  • Participate in and follow ITIL Incident Management and Change Management frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in providing technical support for both Windows and MacOS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory management in hybrid environments.
  • Experience with Windows imaging and modern image management and patching techniques.
  • Proficiency in endpoint management tools such as KACE and Intune.
  • Familiarity with conditional access policies and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting M365 applications, including Office and Teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Incident Management and Change Management processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support or a related IT role.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Apple Certified Support Professional, or similar, are a plus.
