Position Overview:

The Christian Sober Living Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sober living home, ensuring a supportive and structured environment for our residents. This role involves upholding Christian values, managing house rules, and facilitating both spiritual and personal growth. The ideal candidate will serve as a role model in recovery and faith, actively participate in the community, and contribute to a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Drug Testing: Conduct drug tests for all residents on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with sobriety requirements.
  • Spiritual Leadership: Lead a weekly Bible study and house meeting, providing spiritual guidance and support to residents.
  • Curfew and Conflict Management: Enforce curfews and mediate any conflicts that arise among residents, promoting a harmonious living environment.
  • Example of Recovery and Christianity: Demonstrate a strong commitment to both recovery and Christian principles, serving as a role model for residents.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the general upkeep of the home, including managing household chores and ensuring adherence to house rules.

Qualifications:

  • Faith and Community Involvement: Must have an active home church, participate in a small group, and be involved in church service activities.
  • Sobriety: At least 6 months of sobriety with a commitment to a 12-step recovery program.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a recovery or Christian ministry setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate others in both their recovery journey and spiritual growth.
  • Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive community.
