Business Development Leader – Northeast Psychiatric Medical Care – Business Development Leader in the Northeast territory. Must reside in New York and be located in the Northeast. Remote work with travel required. Location: Remote + Travel (NE region) Salary: Up to $100,000 per year plus commission based on experience. Job Purpose Drive development of new business and client solutions for PMC’s services, primarily responsible for sales of management contracts, behavioral health integration initiatives and consulting. Responsibilities Drive sales and marketing initiatives of PMC’s lines of service. Implement sales strategies and tactics in assigned region. Ensure sales goals and revenue achievement. New business development for all lines of service. Manage ongoing strategic partner relationships and customer satisfaction. Support transition of new contracts with Operations and maintain support. Perform operational assessments, feasibility studies, and consulting work. Plan, obtain, and manage sales opportunities within a geographic territory. Prospect and convert potential new clients. Develop effective call strategy within key states. Cold call to maintain robust pipeline. Network and build relationships with decision makers. Set up meetings with hospital CEOs and follow up diligently. Work with Development team to craft proposals. Handle objections and negotiate positively. Use persuasive communication to secure agreements. Attend meetings, training, company events, trade shows, conferences. Meet and exceed sales targets, including calls, meetings, closes, and revenue; aim to close three contracts in first year. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in health or business; Master’s preferred. Minimum ten years of sales experience in healthcare. Five years of contract management and solutions development. Project management experience a plus. Experience selling service contracts to hospital CEOs. Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient mental health. Understanding of CON processes, environment of care issues, and hospital industry. Experience developing psychiatric management contracts preferred. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and licensure requirements preferred. Team player, self‑reliant, problem‑solving, results‑oriented. Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills. Closing skills and motivation for sales. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills. Ability to manage priorities and complex projects with minimal guidance. Attention to detail and flexibility.
