Our team is searching for our next Principal Site Reliability Engineer to play a crucial role improving system reliability and resilience, facilitating faster and more efficient software development and deployment. You'll apply your expertise to minimize manual effort and prevent operational incidents. Your expert knowledge, problem-solving, and analytical abilities will enable us to address sophisticated technical challenges by collaborating with various teams, contributing to the implementation of Agile and DevOps methodologies, and the utilization of advanced technologies and tools. Responsibilities:
Improve system reliability and resilience by implementing advanced site reliability engineering practices and automation tools.
Collaborate with various teams to facilitate the implementation of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Leverage problem-solving and analytical skills to address sophisticated technical challenges effectively.
Contribute to the utilization of advanced technologies and tools to expedite software development and deployment.
Continuously learning and adapting to stay abreast of technological advancements and maintain the company's competitive edge.
Prevents operational incidents by minimizing manual effort through automation and effective problem-solving.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
7-10 years Working in operations or develops environments solving customer related issues while handling customer relationships (Required)
7-10 years developing software solutions with programming languages such as Java, C#, SQL, etc. and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell etc. is a plus (Preferred)
Proficiency in site reliability engineering and automation tools. (Required)
Ability to solve sophisticated technical challenges effectively coupled with an understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies. (Required)
Experience in crafting and maintaining CICD Pipelines. (Preferred)
Understanding of software scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, and capacity management. (Required)
Experience in building applications on cloud native platforms. (Preferred)
Understanding of how to deliver software faster, better, and cheaper. (Required)
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data collection, evaluation & presentation. (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Master's/Advanced Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications (Preferred):
Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
Certification from Google that validates the ability to craft, develop, and manage a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architecture using Google Cloud technologies.
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Certification from Amazon Web Services that validates technical expertise in provisioning, operating, and managing distributed application systems on the AWS platform.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certification that validates the skills required for day-to-day administration of Kubernetes clusters.
