Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week

Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience

License: State RN License in good standing

Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have: Patient care skills, RN license, nursing documentation skills, human resources knowledge

Job Description:
- Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provide care using nursing processes and resources.
- Perform responsibilities and duties specific to the scope of service.
- Implement procedures and theories related to the area of practice.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation to assure information integration for the healthcare team.
- Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop an appropriate plan of care based on patient and family needs.
- Implement plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
- Modify plan of care based on continuous evaluation.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting/correcting safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues.
- Offer constructive feedback for the professional development of peers, and confer with colleagues to expand knowledge.
- Identify own learning needs and take initiative for solutions.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
