Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Hydraulic Modeler/Analyst at Owen & White Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA. As a Hydraulic Modeler, you will be responsible for conducting hydraulic modeling, analyzing water and wastewater systems, and collaborating with our engineering team to ensure efficient operations.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build, calibrate and validate hydraulic models
  • Perform fire flow tests for model calibration
  • Maintain hydraulic models as modifications to the systems are made
  • Identify problems in the distribution system and provide solutions to improve the water distribution system
  • Create unidirectional flushing programs
  • Analyze steady state and extended period simulations



Qualifications

  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software specifically WaterCAD
  • Experience in analyzing water and wastewater systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
