Emergency Services Program Manager
Horizon Behavioral Health Community Services Board (CSB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Services Program Manager to lead and manage a team of emergency services clinicians.
Job Summary- Provide oversight and management of a team of emergency services clinicians to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with all applicable regulations and policies.
- Lead and collaborate with other staff and outside entities to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services to clients.
- Support the Senior Portfolio Director to ensure coordination of all emergency services and optimum financial performance of programs.
- Manage and supervise a team of emergency services clinicians.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments and outside entities to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to team members.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university in an applicable human services field.
- Licensure in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Four years of relevant clinical experience, including at least 2 years of experience working in emergency services or with persons with serious mental illness.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in emergency services or other mental health setting.
- Experience in emergency services.
- Knowledge of behavior modification, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), emergency interventions, family, group, and individual therapies, psycho social education, risk assessments, sex offender treatment, substance abuse interventions, etc.
- Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques.
- Knowledge of community mental health and public health to provide advocacy and enhance an individual's treatment and access to community resources.
- Participation in the Virginia Retirement System (VRS).
