Business Development Representative

Duro-last Roofing, a manufacturer of custom fabricating roofing systems, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a strong background in construction and sales to join a progressive and growing manufacturing firm. As Business Development Representative of Duro-Last Roofing you will be responsible for supporting developing new relationships in the Atlantic region. This is a full-time, year-round, salaried position with excellent benefits and bonus structure.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop business plan for continual growth and market share of the specification market
Increase volume of business through architects, roofing consultants, specifiers, corporate accounts, contractors, trade shows, and building owners
Responsible for working with the Duro-Last Representatives and contractors in your assigned region.
Participate in planning and formation of marketing and sales strategies for the Atlantic Region
Work in conjunction with Regional Manager on projects and maintaining contractor relationships
Join local affiliations such as BOMA
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required or equivalent work experience
Prior sales experience in the construction industry is highly desired
Calling on the specifier community is preferred
Must be organized and self-motivated and have outstanding communication skills
Some travel is required
