Role Overview As part of our high‑energy, collaborative, and competitive sales team, you will develop customer acquisition and retention strategies while identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. You will make outbound sales calls to prospective travelers who have expressed interest in group travel through our website and marketing efforts, and you will maintain relationships with past loyal travelers booking their next Go Ahead Tour. Sales Development Program No sales experience? No problem. Our Structured Sales Development Program is designed for newcomers and seasoned sales professionals alike, providing training in sales, product, marketing, and industry trends; coaching in consultative selling, presentations, public speaking; and dedicated mentorship. Responsibilities Independently manage your book of business while simultaneously bringing in new business Maintain high outreach and follow‑up phone conversations Average 100+ calls and 3 hours of phone time per day Utilize consultative selling techniques to prospect and initiate product interest Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals Develop an integrated sales strategy to accomplish your goals Weekend work: 1–2 days per month; take a weekday off when you work a weekend day Late shift work: 1–2 days per month; shifts from 11:30 am to 8 pm MT Qualifications Strong verbal communication and influencing skills (must connect with a diverse range of individuals via telephone) Innate sales instincts – recognize and capitalize on customers’ buying signals Driven and competitive mindset with intrinsic motivation to hit targets Demonstrates personal accountability, self‑awareness, and a “student” mentality Adept in problem‑solving, planning, organizing, and prioritizing work while collaborating with a team Flexibility to pivot quickly and multitask in a fast‑paced environment Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience or a 4‑year degree Benefits & Perks Monthly trainings and workshops Four weeks paid vacation in the first year; ten paid holidays and two floating holidays Business travel opportunities 25% company match on 401(k) contributions Market‑leading medical, dental and vision coverage; options for life and disability insurance, legal and pet insurance Dependent‑care, healthcare and commuter FSA accounts Access to fertility care and family‑building support Wellness benefits including yearly fitness reimbursement Frequent social and learning events; employee‑run resource groups Employee Assistance Program Tenure‑based sabbatical eligibility EF product discounts (travel, language schools, Au Pair, etc.) Discounts at local venues and businesses In‑office work policy: work from home on Fridays, collaborate in office Monday–Thursday Compensation: first‑year Tour Consultants on‑target earning potential $60,000 (base $50,000, $10,000 bonus); OTE increases to $72,000 after 12 months; promotion to Senior Tour Consultant after 2 years with OTE $95,000 ($65,000 base, $30,000 bonus) Company Culture This is the most fun, high‑caliber place you’ll ever work.
