Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test (DET) / Automation Engineer to join client team. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills and a passion for software testing, quality assurance, and automation. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks, writing test scripts, and ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to define, document, and implement test cases and testing processes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, working closely with developers to resolve defects.
  • Validate and ensure data quality and accuracy through automated data validation processes.
  • Utilize programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.) to enhance and extend test automation capabilities.
  • Integrate automated tests with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration (CI) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven).
  • Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on testing practices and code quality.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in test automation and software development in test roles.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.) for automation scripting and data validation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Appium.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
