Position Overview:

Frankies Bikinis is looking for a passionate candidate for the newly created position of Associate Planner. The Associate Planner will report to the Director of Merchandising. An ideal candidate will be hardworking, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized. As a member of the Merchandising & Planning department, you will help maximize sales in stores across all categories (Swim, Apparel & Activewear). You will be supporting our Planner and Director of Merchandising to leverage data primarily to build product strategies that contribute to category growth within all brick-and-mortar retail stores.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

·      Partner with Director of Merchandising on crafting and executing our growth plans across all categories within stores.

·      Provide weekly retail sales reporting and analysis across category, product attributes, and market.

·      Provide recommendations for immediate actions on a weekly basis.

·      Create SKU count and depth plans by category and store.

·      Partner with Planner to build initial style level assortment for each store & style level unit projections for each store.

·      Collaborate with the Director of Retail to optimize Retail Store sales plans & allocations with a focus on assortment diversity & inventory productivity.

·      Report on Retail sales on a store, style and size level to create future allocations.

·      Manage and advise on styles to RTV from retail stores.

·      Create retail assortment presentations by stores for VM purposes.

·      Use anecdotal notes from Retail associates to create future allocations.

·      Plan replenishment to ensure optimized stock levels in all bestsellers. Utilize planning models to track performance by SKU and assess risk/opportunity per SKU & market.

·      Analyze size selling & continuously optimize size breaks by category & market.

·      Evaluate trend in return rate at stores and opportunities to minimize returns.

·      Perform in-season and post-season hindsight reporting by store location.

·      Help develop seasonal product plans - Analyze SKU productivity & partner with merchandising on style count & color extensions for optimal store productivity.


Education/Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree

·      2-3 years of experience in planning for a contemporary fashion brand

·      Highly analytical. Self-motivated, positive, adaptable, and dependable attitude.

·      A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven, are an efficiency advocate and a strategic thinker.

·      Understanding of both the physical and digital retail space (DTC) as well as wholesale preferred

·      Highly Proficient in Excel


Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year. Actual salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, candidate’s related work experience. This position is also eligible for benefits.
