This acute care facility was founded over one hundred years ago and today houses nearly 400 licensed beds and offers a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This state-of-the-art medical center provides a number of patient care services including behavioral health, oncology services, cardiopulmonary and vascular services, emergency and critical care, radiology services, maternity and pediatric care, wound and home care, and much more.
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist specializing in Histology, you will perform complex laboratory tests and procedures to examine tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities include preparing and staining tissue specimens, operating and maintaining histology equipment, and analyzing results to assist in diagnosing diseases. You will ensure accuracy in testing, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Degree from a clinical laboratory technology program or similar
- Clinical Laboratory Technician or Histology Technician license
- Prior working experience is a plus
