Job Title: Support Engineer III

Job Description:
  • As a Reliability Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks throughout the facility.
  • We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, start-up like environment.
  • To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform Design Verification Test on component level (power regulators, serial interfaces, etc.) using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.
  • Setup equipment and run environmental tests in thermal and TVAC chambers
  • Operation of environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS)
  • Install instrumentation on various types of hardware and fixtures
  • Execute electronic test procedures that part of a system level testing
  • Create reports using collected test data
  • Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
  • Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Write and/or modify Python scripts
Typical Day in the role:
  • A technician in this role will play a valuable part in ensuring hardware is tested and ready to be integrated.
  • You will have to be comfortable in a high paced environment and being able to multitask while still being able to produce high quality work.
Interaction with team/Day to Day:
  • Collaborative - have to work with people.
  • Current team is 11 people.
  • Electrical Design Engineers is 7 or 8 people.
  • Only working with internal team.
  • Working with only a few people on a day-day basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 3 plus years of Reliability Technician background
  • College Degree required, or 3 plus years exp in Reliability Technician background
Top 3 must-have hard skills:
  • Should know how to operate the environmental test chambers
  • Install instrumentation on various types of hardware and fixtures
  • Execute electronic test procedures for component and system level testing
