They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Software Engineer to join their creative team. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in flight software development for space systems, a strong background in satellite and aviation technologies, and a passion for innovation.

Focus:

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of flight software for satellite and spacecraft systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and performance of software systems.
  • Contribute to the development of mission-critical software, including real-time operating systems and control algorithms.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, and optimization to meet rigorous spaceflight standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in software engineering, space systems, and satellite technologies to drive innovation.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of software tools and infrastructure for mission planning and execution.


Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in flight software development for space or aviation systems.
  • Strong understanding of real-time operating systems and embedded software development.
  • Experience with satellite and space system software requirements and standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
