Superlanet is recruiting for a Clinical EMR Trainer for a large healthcare organization. This position is a direct hire onsite position in San Diego, CA. The Clinical EMR Trainer is responsible for conducting and coordinating various training sessions, workshops, and seminars, with a focus on Ambulatory and Outpatient Services. The Clinical EMR Trainer collaborates with Information Systems (IS) and clinical departments to facilitate training across the hospital and supports appropriate documentation practices in alignment with quality patient care standards and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and staff to support the implementation and training of the EMR system.
  • Conduct and coordinate various training sessions, workshops, and seminars for clinical technology and applications.
  • Work with IS and clinical areas to facilitate comprehensive training programs throughout the hospital.
  • Partner with other Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) to ensure continuous staff support and development of training materials.
  • Ensure training materials and practices support appropriate documentation in the EMR, meeting specialty and regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate as a Clinical EMR Trainer on hospital committees focused on clinical education.
  • Serve as a professional role model and a liaison between technology and clinical departments.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to the position.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • EPIC certifications
  • Five years of clinical experience in Pediatrics.
  • California RN License.
