This position also operates all applicator equipment and performs maintenance on that equipment. This position requires a Class A CDL. &Correctly mixes pesticides, fertilizers and chemicals for application.&Performs maintenance and calibration on application equipment.&Wears proper protection equipment.&Attends applicator equipment workshops.&Performs maintenance on other equipment and fixed facilities.&Must be able to work nights, overtime and some weekend hours during busy season.&Experience in operating large equipment is required. &Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle. Positions requiring a CDL may have differing age requirements.  &Class A CDL is required.&Other skills that will help you succeed:&Agricultural background.&Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.&Ability to pass a CDL physical examination.&Ability to work without direct supervision.&Temporary employees are eligible to participate in Helena's 401(k) Savings Plan. The work environment for this position is that of a typical outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock.
