Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer with expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems design to join our team. This role involves collaborating on innovative design solutions for diverse project types, including healthcare, corporate, government, and educational facilities. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities, code knowledge, and commitment to sustainability and equity principles in design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and piping layout.
  • Develop plumbing system designs, calculate capacities, and prepare project specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and workshops to address complex challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes and design standards.
  • Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
  • 8+ years of consulting engineering experience, with a focus on healthcare projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace, IES, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of building controls is a plus.
