Position Overview:

As a Clinical Educator, you will play a pivotal role in educating healthcare professionals about a closed system drug transfer device specifically designed for oncology settings in hospital pharmacy facilities. You'll collaborate with medical staff, providing essential training and support to ensure safe and effective use of the product.

This per-diem position offers flexibility and the chance to travel regionally and nationally, with assignments averaging 1-2 times per month, lasting 3-5 days each. It's a perfect opportunity to continue impacting healthcare while exploring the medical device field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver education and consultation tailored to particular end-user needs.
  • Use your clinical expertise to address questions and concerns related to the medical device.
  • Assess specific educational needs and work with staff to create a positive learning experience.
  • Provide updates and valuable feedback to clients before, during, and after assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted RN license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years oncology experience is highly preferred; 2 years of critical care experience may be considered.
  • Leadership experience (as a manager, educator, or preceptor) is a plus but not required.
  • Availability for at least two weeks of assignments per month.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Active driver's license and personal vehicle for commuting to assignments within 3 hours of your residence.
  • Must meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
