**Hematology/Oncology Opening in North Carolina*** Located in ***Washington, NC*** - Coastal; Greenville, NC 20m* Seeking a BE/BC Fellowship trained Hematology Oncologist to join their cancer program. * Applicants should have an interest in growing a community-based general oncology practice.* Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule* Shared regional call* Established team of experienced nurses and nurse navigators* Advance practice provider support* Accredited cancer center includes 13 bay infusion therapy unit, radiation therapy services, survivorship planning, patient support services and meditation garden* Clinical responsibilities will include: developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervising advance practice provider on follow up patients, and participation in tumor board* Participation in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network* Close collaboration with the Cancer Care team which includes a multidisciplinary team of specialists including radiation oncologists, hematology oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologist, neurological oncologist, hematology oncology fellows, and patient navigators * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to include: annual administrative stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick, and holidays, malpractice (with tail), 401k, 457b, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance142-bed full-service hospital with an active medical staff of more than 50 physicians representing 20+ specialties, as well as more than 600 nurses, technicians and support staff. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy.
