Position Overview The IT Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing the organization’s overall IT application and infrastructure landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in assessing current systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending solutions that align technology capabilities with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Review existing IT applications and infrastructure to evaluate performance, scalability, security, and alignment with organizational needs. Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that ensure consistency and integration across systems. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and future goals. Identify areas for modernization, consolidation, or replacement of systems and platforms. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement. Lead the development of long-term IT roadmaps and architectural strategies to support growth and innovation. Provide guidance on technology standards, best practices, and emerging trends to ensure robust and scalable solutions. Support the implementation of architectural recommendations in partnership with technical and vendor teams. Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture or a similar field. Proven expertise in assessing large-scale IT applications and infrastructure environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make actionable recommendations. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. Solid understanding of cloud computing, on-premises infrastructure, integration, and security practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) are advantageous.
