Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Quick Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care, with the ability to assist in surgical procedures and manage patient care collaboratively with our orthopedic surgeons. You will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive orthopedic services, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Patient Care & Management:•Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.•Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons.•Assist in surgical procedures, providing support in the operating room and post-operative care.•Clinical Support:•Perform joint injections, splinting, casting, and other orthopedic interventions.•Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.•Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and rehabilitation strategies.•Collaboration & Communication:•Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, nurses, and physical therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.•Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
•Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.•Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of Maryland.•Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).•Previous experience in orthopedic or surgical settings is preferred.•Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
