Description Community Options, Inc. is a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Residential IDD Services in Middlesex County, NJ. The Director maintains a high‑quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supports the team with day‑to‑day operations to achieve programmatic goals. Location: Middlesex County, NJ Starting salary: $57,500 per year Responsibilities Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed Develop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developments Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our care May conduct programmatic investigations May be required to be on‑call in cooperation with other management staff Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned Employee must cooperate with license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required with two years of full‑time work experience supporting people with disabilities Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record Team‑oriented with demonstrated leadership experience Experience with problem‑solving against multiple priorities Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports Employment contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing Why Community Options Competitive insurance benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid holidays—including a birthday holiday Generous paid time off Employee incentive & discount programs 403(b) retirement plan Incredible career growth opportunities University partnerships that include tuition reduction Please visit our website to complete an online application Careers.comop.org Community Options is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V #J-18808-Ljbffr
