Primary Shift: Shift 1
Work Type: 1.0 FTE (full-time, 80 hours biweekly)

SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is participation in creative, nutritional menu development and the preparation of individual and large quantity meals that enhance the patient and visitor experience. The Cook is responsible for preparing, working with, and delivering food according to the nutritional needs of the patient/resident, providing food and customer service to patients, residents, and personnel while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation, and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in food preparation and therapeutic diets preferred. One month on-the-job training required.
3. Serve Safe Food Certification preferred.
4. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
