Position Overview The Sales Director for Consumer Product Goods (CPG) & Retail is responsible for driving sales revenue growth within these key verticals. This role involves close collaboration with account management, delivery, marketing, and our alliance partners to build new relationships and expand existing accounts. You will position SDG Group as a strategic partner for data and AI transformation across the CPG and retail value chain. This is a hands-on, "builder" role ideal for a sales leader excited to help scale a high-growth U.S. business. Key Responsibilities Account Strategy: Partner with account leaders to build and execute integrated account plans that achieve revenue targets, focusing on both account growth and new business opportunities. Executive Engagement: Engage C-level stakeholders to align SDG’s Data & AI solutions with strategic business objectives and develop executive-level relationships across CPG and retail customers. Sales Execution: Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuits from qualification through close. Alliance Collaboration: Collaborate with alliance partners (Snowflake, Matillion, Databricks, Microsoft) on joint go-to-market and co-sell efforts. Internal Alignment: Align with delivery and consulting teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales to project execution. Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM updates to support organizational visibility. Qualifications Experience: 8–10+ years of enterprise or consulting services sales experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation. Industry Expertise: A proven track record of success in both new business generation and account expansion within the CPG and Retail portfolios. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making in supply chain, operations, and commercial functions. Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated collaboration with consulting, delivery, and alliance teams. Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "builder" mindset that thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
