The Securities Services Operations Transformation (SSOT) team is a global function within the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB). The SSOT team is seeking a Vice President (VP) who will join a large and diverse team of change leads comprised of developers and project managers that centrally drive the Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Data Analytics agenda across the Securities Services business.As an Operations Automation Lead, you will need to be an experienced Vice President that can support the development of high-impact initiatives centered around deploying Automation and  AI / ML enabled solutions that create efficiencies and align the business to the target operating model.  Projects may include data transformation, data visualization, data digitization, artificial intelligence (such as LLM’s, NLP,  & Gen AI) and various other initiatives. The role provides the opportunity to innovate through cutting edge technologies while partnering with operations, product and technology teams across the organization.Job responsibilitiesDeliver all aspects of process automation including solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while adhering to the firm’s standards, controls, and governanceSpecifically, engage experts across cross-functional groups to build solutions using intelligent automation tools including Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path, and InstabaseDesign and influence the automation, tooling, and data strategy in partnership with key stakeholdersPartner with technology to improve the infrastructure required to support intelligent automation to facilitate scale and reduce time-to-market of automation solutionsEnsure compliance of IA builds against governance standards and any applicable risk requirements (Ex: Jira, Data Use Council, etc.) Provide reporting, metrics/analytics, communications and project support to management to ensure timely delivery against Objectives and Key Results (OKR), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and/or metrics Influence tech & product roadmaps to address technical gaps and evolving business requirements Own opportunities to promote scalability, reusability, and design excellenceProvide thought leadership to integrate emerging technologies and industry trends that inform IA tooling and Data strategyUtilize design thinking methods to reengineer processes and identify / assess high impact opportunities to apply digital solutions and AI / MLMentor, coach, and develop junior talent within the team and more broadly across the firm Required qualifications, capabilities and skillsMinimum 7+ years of experience working in the financial industry, banking operations, or a related fieldMinimum 7+ years of experience developing automation solutions, delivering change or other equivalent experienceBachelor’s degree from an accredited university Possess strong technical acumen with an advanced understanding of one or more “no-code / low-code” digital tools such as Alteryx or Tableau and/or familiarity with one or more programming languages such as SQL or Python Proven history delivering large scale end-to-end transformation projects that involve a high level of complexity Independently deliver on multiple streams of work concurrently Possess strong communication/interpersonal skills including ability to articulate technical and non-technical informationAbility to proactively identify business needs  and engage and influence global stakeholders Dissect complex problems and create crisp/clear solutions Working knowledge of basic PM competencies such as the Agile methodology are considered a plusCulturally, candidates must share the team values including collaboration, diversity, and respectPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk takingCurious about modern technologies and in touch with industry wide trends and best practicesFinal Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.Please note this role is not eligible for employer immigration sponsorship.
