Join our inpatient behavioral health unit as a key team member, where you'll provide vital care, support, and advocacy for patients on their journey to wellness and recovery. Apply TODAY

Shifts: Primarily night shift position with optional variable shifts based on the needs of the unit.

Combination of 8 and 12 hr shifts

Alternating weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

* Build positive relationships with patients and colleagues, demonstrating accountability, motivation, and commitment.
* Show cultural awareness and promote healthy relationships among peers.
* Balance work and personal life effectively, modeling time management and wellness.
* Teach patients, families, students, and new staff with clarity, supporting transitions and effective care.
* Engage in continuous learning, feedback, and development of peers, often serving as a preceptor.
* Apply the nursing process to create a patient-centered, healing environment, addressing holistic care needs.
* Communicate effectively, ensuring comprehensive documentation and coordination across care teams.
* Take accountability for professional growth, participating in shared governance and team goals.
* Embrace flexibility and adaptation during change to enhance care quality and the work environment.
* Support quality improvement efforts through evidence-based practice and actively seek ways to improve patient care and satisfaction

Qualifications:

* Demonstrate effective work within a complex environment, managing priorities and equipment.
* Show strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Physical stamina required for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.

Licenses & Clearances:

* RN license or temporary permit (TPP)
* CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
* Act 33
