Your Role:

As Director of Operations “El Capitan”, you will lead, optimize, and scale our operational processes, ensuring that they align with our innovative vision. You will spearhead efficiency improvements, implement strategic initiatives, insurance program development, recruiting and be a key driver in nurturing a dynamic, collaborative culture. Job Roles & Responsibilities


Operational Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement streamlined processes to optimize the efficiency of all operational activities.

Analyze, forecast, and manage budgetary goals to align with company growth targets.

Drive operational KPIs and strategic initiatives to ensure scalability.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and develop high-performing teams, ensuring clear communication and fostering a collaborative environment.

Establish performance benchmarks and incentive-based structures to motivate and measure team success.

Innovation & Process Improvement

Implement fintech solutions that improve workflows and enhance customer service.

Identify and drive the implementation of technology that enhances efficiency and customer experience.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Work closely with sales, marketing, and underwriting teams to ensure smooth handoffs and process integration.

Collaborate with senior leadership to establish company-wide strategies and initiatives.

Client Relationship Management

Enhance the client experience by refining customer service processes and ensuring timely delivery of insurance solutions.

Compliance & Risk Management

Maintain operational compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Manage internal risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.


Desired Skills and Competencies:


Experience in Insurance Operations:

Proven track record in operations management within an insurance brokerage or related field.

Knowledge of MGA and retail brokerage workflows, compliance, and technology.

Knowledge of Insurance Program Development and Captive Markets 

Leadership and Team Development:

Strong ability to lead diverse teams, manage change, and foster a culture of collaboration.

Abili

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

Proficient in using data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.

Tech-Savviness:

Familiarity with insurance tech platforms, CRM systems, and process automation tools.
