Job Responsibilities

Report to Independence Tooling Operations Manager
Produce Machine Assembled Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, and Gauges:Utilize blueprints, sketches, specifications, and descriptions to develop, machine, and assemble various tools.
Apply knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and assembly methods.


Read and interpret blueprints accurately
Proficiently use hand tools such as calipers and gauges

Qualifications

Familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
Prior assembly experience is required
Ability to operate shop machinery effectively
Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workload
Welding experience is preferred
