*Gotham Companies* is seeking a skilled *Specialty Laboratory Technologist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have *extensive knowledge of Blood Bank procedures*, laboratory procedures, including assays, aseptic techniques, ELISA, RNA extraction, and specimen collection processing. Knowledge of laboratory information management systems and working in a research laboratory setting is highly desirable.

*Schedule: *8:00am - 4:00pm; 5 days a week (37.50 hours a week); Alternating Weekends

*Pay Rate*: $52.25 \*\*Non-Negotiable

*Responsibilities*:
* Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation, and *knowledge of Blood Bank.*
* Must be proficient in the performance of manual differentials, cell counts on body fluids, and urine microscopy.
* Must perform Quality control and maintenance procedures as required.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

*Requirements*:
* NYS Medical Technologist License Required
* *Must possess vast knowledge of blood bank procedures*, as well as Chemistry Hematology
* Proficient in performing manual differentials and fluid cell count differentials, urine microscopy.

*Education*:

BS Degree in Science

ASCP preferred

*Certifications*:

ASCP, NCA or MT Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $52.25 per hour
