Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Specialty Laboratory - Days - Competitive Sign-On Bonus and New Rates
At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, Laboratory Technologists are redefining the limits of science and medicine. Here you'll have an opportunity to work in the Specialty Laboratory focusing on but not limited to Serology (HIV, Hepatitis & Syphilis testing). You will also perform Special Chemistry tests (Immunosuppressive drug testing, Fetal Defect Markers, Anti-Thyroids, Kappa Lambda and Electrophoresis testing) plus Metabolism Lead testing and Mass Spectrometry.
This is a day shift position including rotating weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Preferred Criteria
* One to three years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting in Special Chemistry or Chemistry; New graduates are welcomed to apply
* ASCP certification
Required Criteria
* Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent curriculum)
* Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York State Education Department
