Executive Director of Psychological Services Blue Sea Educational Consulting is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our Behavioral Intervention Services (BIS) and Mental Health Department. This role blends clinical expertise with strategic leadership, guiding a multidisciplinary team that supports students with disabilities across Long Island school districts. About the Role As the Director of Behavioral & Mental Health Services, you will: Lead and develop programs: Design and implement innovative strategies, objectives, and policies for delivering high-quality psychological and behavioral services in both school-based and home settings. Ensure compliance: Maintain full adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as professional standards such as those set by the American Psychological Association. Oversee operations: Manage departmental budgets, administrative functions, and conflict resolution to ensure smooth daily operations aligned with Blue Sea’s standards. Drive quality assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and ethical standards of services provided to ensure positive outcomes for students and school district partners. Provide light fieldwork/oversight: Offer support and guidance to field staff as needed.
