Account Director - Remote Work BairesDev is seeking an experienced Senior Account Director to join our leadership team in Texas. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with executive‑level clients, driving strategic growth initiatives, and identifying new business opportunities. Responsibilities Build long‑term, trusting relationships with clients and present our company to potential and referred clients through meetings, listening to their wishes and concerns. Create account plans and report on revenue/headcount growth results to the Global Account Manager or Account Directors on a regular basis. Conduct market research to identify upselling opportunities and assess customer needs, preparing and delivering presentations on appropriate services. Proactively seek new opportunities through client referrals, networking, and social media. Bring new business leads to increase revenue, negotiate, and close deals. Collaborate with internal teams (Staffing, Sales, Business Development) to achieve better results. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in sales executive, client partner, or engagement manager roles, or equivalent, in the IT/Tech industry. Demonstrated experience in customer relationship management, closing deals, and developing long‑term relationships with clients. Previous experience as a Software Engineer (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another IT‑related degree) is a major plus. Must be based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area.
