Job Description:

As a Chief Systems Engineer – Intel & Cyber you will lead and contribute to the development of leading edge technologies that deliver mission-critical solutions for our customers. In this role you will perform technical planning, concept of operations definition, requirements elicitation and derivation, and analyses throughout the system development lifecycle. In addition, you will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition at the system level.

Essential Functions:

The candidate should be able to perform the following tasks with minimal oversight:

Develop electronic hardware and software architectures and designs based on system level requirements
Develop internal requirements, CONOPs and interface control documents from customer / product requirements
Support full system development lifecycle including concept, design fabrication, production, test, installation, operations, maintenance and disposal
Interact with senior program managers and customers to define approaches and strategies
Lead trade studies to identify solutions which meet requirements and operational needs
Research, collect, and report information on cutting edge/future technologies
Provide guidance to development teams at internal and external gate reviews such as technical baseline reviews and design reviews
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Ensure the logical and systemic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions which meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process, including establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the life cycle of the product
Ability to obtain and maintain any additional clearances as required
Physical Requirements (such as ability to lift up to 10 lbs.)
Up to 10% travel may be required
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Additional Skills:

Coursework and/or experience in Systems Engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, or Computer Engineering
Solid technical foundation and proven experience working with development engineering teams as well as direct customer interaction
Thorough understanding of Tactical ISR and SIGINT Operations – to include tactical operations on the ground and from the air to include Cellular and Wi-Fi platforms.
9+ years operational experience in Tactical ISR and/or SIGINT
Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
Experience using Microsoft Office products
