Partnerships Director

OverviewPartnerships Director role at Motional. Hybrid work arrangement from our Boston office; requires two in-office days each week, ideally Tuesday and Thursday.What you’ll be doingDevelop and execute a comprehensive collaboration strategy aligned with company goals.Develop strategic roadmaps for large-scale data strategy and next-generation autonomous vehicle products.Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and outcomes.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners and key parent company stakeholders.Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program management, strategy, and legal teams to ensure successful partnership integration and execution.Monitor and analyze program performance, providing regular reports to senior management.Prepare executive and board-level materials to report on opportunities, progress, risks, and successes.What we are looking forMinimum 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, preferably in mobility or AI/ML related industry.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships.Strong understanding of partnership models, technology integrations, and strategic alliances.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable partnership initiatives.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Proven cross-functional leadership with strong project management skills.Preferred, but not requiredExperience with Autonomous Vehicles or Automotive OEM.Salary and benefitsThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, location, certifications, licenses, and business needs.
