EO/AA Responsibilities Assign work to and supervise clinical dietitians and dietetic technicians. Develop standards, monitor clinical dietetics performance for safety and efficacy, and implement evidence‑based practice. Establish a framework to collect and publish clinical outcomes research. Review and update policies and procedures, and implement and maintain cost control procedures. Provide input into the budgeting process and be accountable for meeting budget targets. Recruit, hire and orient staff, interacting with hospital management and professional staff. Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition, Foodservice Management, or related area, or equivalency. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the CADE of the American Dietetic Association. Four years of experience as a clinical dietician. Two years of supervisory experience. Licenses Required Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Current license to practice as a Certified Dietitian in the State of Utah. Preferred Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition, Foodservice Management, or a related area. EPIC experience. CBORD experience. Working Conditions and Physical Demands Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. This position involves light work that may exert up to 20 pounds and may require light work involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. They may be required to stand or walk for long periods of time.
